What’s New for 2025: BC Hydro Solar Panel & Battery Rebates
BC Hydro’s current rebate structure includes:

Maximum 50% of total installed system cost (including labour and materials)
✔ Battery Storage Rebate:

Up to $5,000
-
$500 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of installed battery storage (minimum 5 kWh)

Also capped at 50% of total installed cost
You can apply for one or both—solar panels, battery storage, or a full system—to maximize savings.
