This client chose to go the net zero route. We installed 40 x 265 watt Solar PV modules on their flat roof facing south. These 40 panels will produce an annual average Energy production DC 14,198.6 kWh Energy production AC 12,596.8 kWh (what can be expected as the annual output). For a system this size the payback period is about 8 years currently.
